Privacy Policy

NestLedger is designed as a private, local-first home maintenance tracker. It works without a required account, backend home-data server, advertising SDK, external home API or AI service.

Homes, rooms, maintenance tasks, appliance details, warranties, checklist steps, notes, completion history, costs, contractor names and attachments are stored locally on device.
Optional iCloud sync uses the user's personal iCloud account. AppFactory does not operate a separate sync server for home records.
Local notifications are scheduled on device for maintenance tasks and warranty expirations only after permission is granted.
Photo library, camera and document scanning access are requested only when the user chooses to attach photos, receipts, warranty cards, labels or manuals.
Face ID lock is handled by iOS. NestLedger does not receive or store biometric data.
PDF reports, CSV exports and local backup files are generated only when the user chooses to export them.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple and entitlement status is managed through RevenueCat. Home maintenance records are not sent to RevenueCat.
NestLedger does not sell data, use third-party advertising, or track users across apps and websites.

NestLedger uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Users are responsible for verifying critical safety tasks, service intervals, local code requirements and professional service needs.
